i'm all for the Longing but i want more stories that explore already established relationships that have tension and fraction stemming from good people trying their best, growing and changing and learning, and just as often, failing and screwing up or making the wrong choices PLSThis! I want more queer romances with problematic morally-grey characters, I want queer Zukos and queer Jude/Cardans and queer Salvatore brothers. I love cinnamon roll queers but I hate the feeling that queer characters NEED to be morally upstanding to exist in YA
