I open up to queries again at @PSLiterary on Monday, so I've updated my wishlist!
I'd love to see more adult fiction and non-fiction this year. Send me your messy genre-blending stories, niche cookbooks, and complex memoirs.

Finally ...
* I’m always looking to be surprised. I suspect the next manuscript I fall in love with will be something I never could have known to ask for. 😘

* Middle grade and YA fiction & graphic novels from perspectives that often feel left out of publishing, including LGBTQIA themes. Especially if they are:
* Funny! Heartfelt! Adventures! All of the above! Basically, I LOVE middle grade and YA fiction and graphic novels!

What I'm looking for in 2020:
* Graphic novelists & picture book auth/illustrators with tremendous wit, heart, style and flair - my taste in art tends toward the quirky, textured, European, with a strong line and lots of movement - may BE digital, but doesn't LOOK digital #mswl

Something I haven't mentioned but am really on the hunt for: MIDDLE GRADE STORIES. Contemporary, speculative, fantastical - I want it all.
Especially if it's about friendship, odd hobbies, or beginning to figure out who you are.

I want to concentrate on building my adult list.
Send me your romances, contemporaries, grounded fantasies, historical fiction (feeling the 1920s these days), thrillers/mysteries, speculative, and contemporary stories.
Oh, and horror! But nuanced horror. #MSWL.

@mcorvisiero What do you enjoy most about sci-fi? Just so I know if you might be interested if I send mine :)In Sci-fi I love unique science and or well developed world, proper plot arc, multidimensional characters, and a tidy ending. Twists are a huge plus! #MSWL I'm a huge fan of time travel and anything in space- from the Martian to Star Wars. @CorvisieroLit @AuthorWorkshops

I’ve been in dolphin withdrawal since my swim with Sherry so have been mainlining dolphin content in all media, including this TED talk, which I’ve watched 7x. If your book— fiction or non— featured dolphins in any way, plz send it to me! #MSWL 🐬 youtu.be/CQ5dRyyHwfM

At the top of my #MSWL this year: AMBITION. I'm looking for books that take big swings at big feelings and bigger questions, with writing that makes me stop in my tracks and whisper, holy $%!*. Let's do this, 2020.SAME. I would love to find big, ambitious YA and MG -- whether contemporary, fantasy, historical, you name it! #MSWL

-My long shot: Still looking for a literary epic multigenerational family saga with magic realism set in the South. A Southern 100 Years of Solitude. Does it exist? Did you write it?!
Literary Agent
-Nonfiction (kids/adult): Pop science projects, biographies about lesser-known figures
Literary Agent
-Literary fiction (adult): I haven't stopped thinking about HISTORY OF WOLVES since I read it, so, lit fic about complex family relationships, growing up/aging, mental health, darker topics. Also, since it's election year & my anxiety will be running high, hopeful topics.

-Horror (YA/adult): Psychological horror, body horror, hauntings, & other weird/new/different horror. (Also, I am NOT looking for zombies/werewolves/vampires/other creatures at this time.)

-Domestic thrillers (adult): I love them, & I never get these! Please send me your domestic/psychological thrillers; I vastly prefer them over any other kind & would love to find one with an amazing hook. One of my recent favorites was JP Delaney's THE GIRL BEFORE.
