Oh, it is difficult to say what you are NOT looking for because you sometimes surprise yourself (or rather, a great submission surprises you)! Things I'm looking for at the moment includes 'uplit', great police procedural and contemporary issue-driven YA. #AskAgent

Still on the hunt for a #YA or adult historical, whether it's straight #historical, #fantasy, or has other speculative elements. Love a good romance subplot. Been craving Ice Age and early human stories as far as ancient history goes as well. #MSWL

Agent friends! The news out there is bleak and I’m looking for projects that will make me smile and give me all the feels. Send me all your most beautiful and optimistic YA! 👀#mswl

It's HERE! Find out what our editors are wishing for this October. #amwriting bit.ly/2pA9rtb pic.twitter.com/YzDn2SFB3o

My #mswl is so short this month that you might miss it, so I'll repeat it here:
"I really want to see more YA submissions with nonbinary lead characters. Any genre or type."
That's it. *grabby hands* Now give it to me.

Lisa Yoskowitz @LisaYoskowitz · Oct 4

I've said it before, but now more than ever, I'm hungry for a YA novel that makes me feel the way the first half of THE POWER did. Agent friends, please send me your exciting, empowering, immersive new projects! #mswl

Anna Roberto @anna_roberto · Oct 4

Current #MSWL: Feel-good MG/YA. Any genre. Literally don't care. I'll take anything that puts a smile on the faces of readers.

P.S. Literary Agency @PSLiterary · Oct 4

"Eerie mystery for #YA. Unusual structure or elements. Think NIGHT FILM for a younger market." @msmariavicente #MSWL bit.ly/2P9Z0aX

James McGowan @jamerrson · Oct 3

I’m also on the hunt for #YA. Less SFF more contemp & thrillers. Open to anything. Male POV would be great (not necessary). Karen McManus, Jason Reynold, Patrick Ness, Neal Shusterman #MSWL

ChristAHH! HeschkEEK! 👻🧟‍♀️🦇🕸 @ChristaHeschke · Oct 3

So in light of my recent October-themed tweets, please do send me all your creepy, eerie, scary and strange YA and MG horror, mystery and thrillers. I am 100% in the mood for a good scare and all thing that go bump in the night! #MSWL

Lauren Spieller @laurenspieller · Oct 3

Male POV for #mg & #ya, especially in contemporary stories! #mswl

P.S. Literary Agency @PSLiterary · Oct 3

"YA version of the young members of the Leverage team (Hardison, Eliot, and Parker)! I love thieves for good." @kurestinarmada #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

Stephanie Hansen @hansenwriter · Oct 3

Happy #preDV day! I have a few things to add to the #MSWL

- POTUS is supposed to text all Americans with cellphones today...a YA about how that could go wrong would be splendid

Katelyn Uplinger @KatelynUplinger · Oct 2

#MSWL Since it's October, I would love something gothic and creepy, a dark fantasy, or a historical in #YA or #A. Or something like Into the Drowning Deep. Loved that anticipation of waiting to discover the truth followed by horror.
