-A gritty, heart-pounding thriller rooted in character with a slow-burning romance

Just thought of one more - YA - The Phone Booth (Yes, that 2002 thriller) but instead of a phone booth the MC gets a text and is dragged into this world murder and mayhem in the ultimate game of cat and mouse #MSWL

I’m admittedly a gringa, but I grew up in Houston, TX with Latinx influences woven thru every part of life. I’d love to see the work of more Latinx creators—across all kids/YA categories & niches—in my inbox, b/c I want readers to be able to find more of it on bookshelves. #MSWL

YA: Form-challenging fiction of all genres, thrillers and twists, stories set outside the U.S., big-world fantasies with settings that feel truly new & original, contemporary stories that explore themes like identity, code-switching, and female rage, young (12up) YA. #MSWL

Happy #MSWL day! Agents, I'm currently acquiring middle grade, YA, and picture books. My page on the #MSWL site gives a pretty good sense of the kinds of projects I'm looking for, but here's a few other things I'd love to see in my inbox right now.

#MSWL I'm looking for strong YA/adult crossover titles with voice, sense of place, and a unique POV. Keep momentum going. Also, please something with a unique format or story structure that will be appeal to reluctant readers.

#MSWL Feminist historical fiction in adult, YA, MG and PB.

#MSWL - I would love a wilderness story in YA or MG (but especially MG because wilderness stories were so a part of my love of reading at that age).

I’m constantly on the lookout for anything that reads like a Studio Ghibli film in both MG and YA (I love them all—especially Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Howl’s Moving Castle). #MSWL

I know summer is over (sob!) but I'm still looking for that summer vacation love story. It could take place at the beach or lake or in an exotic city, but I want something where there are real stakes involved with what happens when summer ends. (YA/Adult)
