This Halloween, after all the spooky October books I read, I've found myself craving a YA or MG horror novel rooted in non-Western mythology in my QM. I would love to see under-explored creatures and folklore brought to life—and the more atmospheric, the better! #MSWL

For horror: try me with anything and everything, I am eager to expand my YA horror list!

For contemporary stories, I am looking for confident high-concept speculative novels à la Ann Liang. I am very selective in the YA realistic space, and I’m looking for super commercial, funny, and well-plotted.

In YA SFF: I prefer my romance to be a b-plot, and would love more atmosphere-forward storytelling à la Ava Reid or Axie Oh. Especially interested in folktale/myth-inspired stories from underrepresented voices.

I’m looking primarily for adult and YA fiction right now. (No nonfiction pls, and I don’t work on anything younger than MG.) I am a genre lover first and foremost, and I’m always looking for underrepresented voices (more on that below).

here's a general sense of what I want for reference. For MG, YA and Adult: 1. Fantasy/Science Fiction: High fantasy, low fantasy, cosy fantasy. Particularly interested in fantasy and SF inspired by underrepresented cultures with unique world-building.
