Author/illustrator graphic novels for YA and MG. Something fluffy and with a good romance. I love found family stories and kids finding ways to resist corrupt power structures. A unique visual style and a distinct perspective is essential. #MSWL

YA fantasy that feels grounded in a contemporary setting and focuses on the lives of teens in highly relatable ways but with magical or speculative components. But not ones that feel urban fantasy. It's a narrow window, I know. #MSWL

In YA, I would love to find a near-future sci-fi in the vein of Black Mirror or Orphan Black. I also just saw the film Ex Machina, which asks incredibly fascinating questions about AI. #MSWL

I will join the chorus of wanting a YA Westworld. Needs to have super amazing world building and a plot not too identical to the show. #MSWL I still love the whole "human not knowing they're a robot" angle (this show and sort of Battlestar Galactica!)

I am particularly looking for MG and young YA that has strong appeal for middle school/junior high students in the school/library market. Literary quality with strong commercial hook to get kids reading. #MSWL
