I’m focusing a lot in Adult as well—women’s fiction, fantasy, and historical. With WF I want to see upmarket book club fiction (ELEANOR OLIPHANT) and romcoms (MEET CUTE). I want lyrical, historically-inspired fantasy (EMPIRE OF SAND, Juliet Marillier, anything witches). #mswl

I’d love to get in more Women’s/General fiction! Here’s my current #MSWL: Multicultural stories; Women in STEM; High-concept historical; Millennial characters/themes; or Queer fiction. Can be a combination of any of the above.

I'd love to find high concept women's fiction and general commercial fiction, as well as creative contemporary fantasy - stories grounded in our world but w/a magical twist (for teens or adults).

In YA there exist friendship breakup books. This is a hard fact of the teen years. It doesn’t end in adulthood. I’d like to see these books in women’s fiction. #MSWL

I have a #MSWL, one that I've wanted for a long time. I would love, LOVE, to work with a female veteran who is writing the Great American War Novel, where women and their lives are centered instead of on the periphery. Also, if this exists, tell me so I can read it.

I just finished watching The Favourite and I have so many #MSWL wants. I want powerful women in historicals, as opposed to empowered, with power plays and antics, friendships and romance, deep nuanced character relationships and falling outs.

4) I want an Ocean's 8 Heist Something. It could be a historical or a period piece to change up the game on the AWESOME movie, but give me a book with lots of women doing lots of daring SH*T!!

Super, SUPER interested in books that explore women's history and tell me the stories left out of my school textbooks. Books like Margot Lee Shetterly's HIDDEN FIGURES, Denise Kiernan's THE GIRLS OF ATOMIC CITY, or Mallory O'Meara's THE LADY FROM THE BLACK LAGOON. #mswl
