Romance, romance, romance! I adore swoony romances, chaotic protagonists, and conversational and/or laugh-out-loud voice. I also love if there's a sprinkling of spec fic (a la THE DEAD ROMANTICS).

I'm always here for a good, bonkers romcom as well, the wackier the better.

The broadest strokes are that I'm looking for Adult romance; YA romcoms, contemporary, and the odd spec fic; and MG contemporary and fantasy. Specifics below.

I love Romance, but I also love all the ways we mess up and/or complicate our lives CHASING it. Also, chasing monogamy is boring me rn. I’d love to see a QUEER BIPOC coming-of-age/women’s fiction abt a fun-loving, bighearted dyke whose quest for love leads to selfish chaos. #mswl

Gothics and dark academia!! Please!! Whether they’re speculative or not, whether they lean more into horror or into romance, I’m very flexible with these two subgenres and want to see them all.

I’m really hunting for superhero stories in both YA and adult, especially ones that interrogate the hero vs. villain dynamic and deal with the systemic roots of villainy. Romance very welcome!

Fantasy romance, especially queer fantasy romance, like A MARVELLOUS LIGHT. Happy to receive both dark and cozy romances!
