It's official! I am re-opening to queries March 1st to March 31st, 2023.I've thought long and hard about the best way to balance my time, and I believe this is it. My inbox has been abundant with high quality work and I think this small window...
I open to queries in March for ONE month! If you are in my inbox right now you are in my Maybe pile and you'll hear from me soon (I hope)
A few #MSWL things I'm on the look out for (a thread)
1. I am still craving a BIPOC vampire book.

"For rom coms, my taste veers towards genre-blends, i.e., a rom com that's also a family saga or a romcom com that's also a thriller. DIAL A FOR AUNTIES by Jesse Q. Sutanto is a great example and my all-time favorite rom com."

Across the board I'd love to see:
characters w/ disabilities where the disability is NOT a twist or a problem to be solved,
Any genre exploring how legacy & lineage (or lack thereof) impacts a character's current challenges,
Twists that serve the plot not just shock factor,

A VERY specific wish list item, could be any genre (SF/F, horror, contemporary, etc.) but a novel about the Navajo Rangers from a Navajo author (perhaps something along the lines of what was featured in Unsolved Mysteries Volume 3).
