Agents! My inbox awaits your submissions. I’m looking for commercial, goofy, magical, FUN books by BIPOC creators. I keep my website up to date so you can always check there for my latest cravings: kaitfeldmann.com/mswl And I’ll continue to add to this thread. #MSWLI acquire books that require art to tell the story. Board books, picture books, graphic novels, heavily HEAVILY illustrated chapter books. #MSWL

This morning I had my first meeting to present my goals and strategy for the Labyrinth Road imprint. So exciting! My acquisitions so far have lined up perfectly with those goals. And as a reminder to agents:My #mswl remains especially focused on epic, character-driven MG series w/ big stakes both personal and external; I’m still looking for more intersectional identity representation, particularly across race & ethnicity & sexuality & gender. Keep those submissions coming!

“I’d really love to get more YA horror in my inbox. Smart horror. I don’t want gore, I want a story that creeps me out, and asks questions I don’t want answers to.” @ericsmithrocks #MSWL ericsmithrocks.com/mswl

#Thread:Aight so boom 💥. I see this house listing on @zillow. I recognize it immediately. I’ve seen it during my walks in Brooklyn. The price tag is WILD. I’m wondering, “Why is this so much $$?”
(If you know the house...don’t give it away until I’m done with the thread. pic.twitter.com/0bnmqFP3dX

#mswl oh yes (but not the part about the listing itself. Read the thread--it's amazing!--but you'll get it then)

I’d also happily take on another Regency series or two, including those set outside of London. Diversity within the world required. Oh, and I like ‘em spicy :) Submission guidelines in my pinned tweet. #MSWL #HistoricalRomance

"Cozy mysteries centered around siblings & involving a sweet twist! Maybe they’re siblings running a bakery, or the local baker dies mysteriously + the siblings need to solve the murder while keeping the bakery afloat. You tell me!" @claire_m_harris #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

Once more for the people in the back: the near-wholesale loss of American chestnuts was the biggest ecological disaster in American history. Appalachian poverty is what it is today in large part because the chestnuts disappeared.
