Also, bring me the opposite: dark, suspenseful, unsettling, atmospheric (YA) mystery and horror. Make it creepy and intense and full of wonderful characterization, and keep me guessing. I'm talking HOUSE OF HOLLOW, ACE OF SPADES, TRULY DEVIOUS, THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE... #MSWL

I'm looking for arctic, winter, snow, Alaskan horror novels written in the last five years. Other elements include sin-eaters, isolation, monsters, folklore, traditions, rituals, and hope. And if there is a resource I'm unaware of for comps, let me know that, too. Thanks! pic.twitter.com/FR7xWo3GiAI'm closed to queries right now but damn if this doesn't neatly describe my #mswl vibe #amquerying #WritingCommunity

#MSWL when I reopen in January, one thing (not the only thing) I'll be looking for is a lot of genre stuff that is very either funny or satirical or slightly weird, or quirky. Think genre+this. Scifi, fantasy, romance, speculative, thriller, action/adventure, horror--kid & adult.

@jem_zero I do love horror. It's tough to do a horror romance, but I'd definitely be into seeing one.Yes I'm retweeting my own tweet because I decided to add it to my #MSWL as long as there are fantasy or paranormal elements.

OK, yes, this is horrifying. But as someone equally obsessed with food & horror, this is like an excerpt right out of my dream novel, so big #MSWL energy in this foamy mouth.
