In romance: I love quirky characters and am far more likely to be drawn to a story that makes me laugh than one that makes me cry. In historical, I really would love to see some diverse stories. Give me South Asians falling in love in London during the Regency, for example. #mswl

For historical fic: fave time periods are 19th century and 20th century (especially 1900s-1960s). Bonus points for female protags defying the then order. Double bonus points if MCs are 1st/2nd gen Americans. #MSWL
