#MSWL: Agents, I’d love to find a picture book that is both charming and funny. So many sad submissions in my inbox lately that I’m in need of a good laugh. #PictureBooks

Calling all #fiction writers, we will be making weekly call-outs on behalf of agents @JennySavill1 and @ce_seymour. We're looking particularly for writers from underrepresented backgrounds but are open to all, as always, and can't wait to hear from you!#MSWL #WritingCommunity
In our second call-out, @ce_seymour is looking for conversation-starting contemporary fiction with something to say about society. Could be funny, outrageous, something darker, or all of these. Please submit as per our agency guidelines: andrewnurnberg.com/submissions/ #MSWL #Fiction

I'm in the mood for MG! Please send me something spooky, send me something funny, send me something full of adventure, send me something that makes me think. And as always, would love to see subs by marginalized creators across genres. Ready to fall in love with some MG! #MSWL

I’d really like to find a really funny and touching family drama set somewhere regional - I’m thinking like East is East or Billy Elliot? Some kind of culture/class/gender clash. If you’re writing something like this send it my way pleaseeeee. #submissions #wishlistJust FYI, I am still looking for this. I’d love a big messy Asian family drama, in particular. #mswl

7) An outrageously, wryly funny historical romp or rom-com.

3) High-concept YA contemporary or contemporary-with-a-twist, especially if it comes with an irreverent, self-referentially funny voice. Sarcastic or endearingly self-deprecating humor to the front of the line. I love a protagonist who feels like a co-conspirator.

New add to my #MSWL. I'm looking for rom-coms with magical elements or paranormal: witches or nerdy werewolves/shifters come to mind... IOW, something different from what we've seen in paranormal romance in the past + funny & lighthearted. #WritingCommunity #amquerying #amwriting

For MG readers, I’m keen to find a funny, female focused story with series potential (think Louise Rennison or Karen McCombie) and an adventure story for that age group too. I love anything creepy and spooky, so please send anything like that along to me too.
