#MSWL #YA: I love RomComs and anything with a ghost-y or #supernatural quality. #LTBTQ+, #OwnVoices and #BIPOC authors are always welcome. I do still like issue-driven YA, but am looking for something super-edgy in this realm.
My list is pretty fully of geniuses at the moment but there are some things I've been wanting to sign for an age--maybe you can help me out? #MSWL
- adult space opera
- MG mystery (sff/contemp)
- series-friendly GN
- YA/MG horror GN
- anything like IN OTHER LANDS, pls, I'm dying
Women's fiction - psychological thrillers (the darker the better) & mystery/suspense. Think Lifetime movies!
Paranormal romance & thrillers/suspense. School settings are a plus. Dark elements are welcomed!
Peter Knapp @petejknappHello, 2021, and hello to writers seeking representation this year. Happy New Year! Here's what I'm looking for...a new year, a new #mswl thread...
Hello, everyone: I did a #mswl tweet at the start of this year, and it's all still true. I'm particularly excited to find YA thrillers and mysteries, and middle grade anything: series, contemporary, fantasy, etc.
I'm open to submissions for the month of May! Send me #PictureBooks, #chapterbooks, #middlegrade & #youngadult novels. Please look at my #MSWL threads so you can query smartly. All queries go to: QueryTracker.com/LindaEpstein

"I loved THE DREAMERS by Karen Thompson Walker. Send me more spec fiction, even better if it has an environmental angle. Adult, YA, and graphic novels welcome!” @readbystephanie #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/
Joanna Moult @JoannaMoultI'm loving the #WMPitch tweets. But there are SO many & it's quite overwhelming so I feel I may have missed a gem. If you think I might be a good fit for your work please send it to me. All submission details are here skylark-literary.com. See tweet 👇 below for my wishlist
My #MSWL is for funny, warm-hearted MG or an engaging, absorbing MG adventure, partic told from fresh perspectives. In YA, a super-fresh hook & vivid characters, whether with contemp realistic setting or with fantasy/magical elements. #OwnVoices are v. imp to me #WMPitch
TBH, I was just thinking about A DOG's PURPOSE, and then I was all like, "oh yeah but make it YA, and smoochie, and like darkly romantic, and not about dogs, but people, and maybe the world has magic already ..." So, that's my brain.
#MSWL I think it'd be really cool to get a YA fantasy (probs with a heavy romance subplot) with reincarnation as the crux upon which the pendulum swings. Doesn't have to be set on a realistic earth. Could be a fantasy world to make the world building deeper. Either way.
If I missed your #APIpitch, send query & 1st 5 pages to: QueryManager.com/QueryLynnetteN… #A: horror, thriller, cont. romance, & mystery. #YA: thriller, horror, SFF, mystery, & cont. #MG: SFF, mystery, cont., & horror. #PB #ownvoices #diversity #MSWL #BVM #OwnVoices #POC #API
Jumi Bello @jumibelloHey Literary Twitter, lend me your mind: tell me your favorite books that have centered houses and/or trains. Is there a book where a house is the narrator or the structural link? A book where a train is the literary star? Interpret however you wish. The wilder, the better.
Oooh this made me realize I’ve never done an #MSWL for MG or YA with an unusual narrator!
