For YA, I'm more turning to Historical, Contemporary, and Contemporary Romance. Super selective on Fantasy and Paranormal right now, though would still love to see concepts on witches or ghosts (and vamps if unique!)

My YA romantasy caveat is that the romance must be between humans. I am not the right fit for fae or elves or orcs or mermaids or aliens or robots.
(However, things that were once human are OK: vampires, werewolves, ghosts). #mswl

I just learned about Boston marriages where wealthy 19th century women "married" each other by moving in together to keep their inherited or hard-earned money to themselves and some of these "marriages" turned into actual romantic relationships. And now I'm obsessed.#MSWL but witches/vampires/werewolves/etc.

Here's an #MSWL for you (a thread)
I want a super self indulgent vampire romance. Take me back to the early 2000s. Very Queen of the Damned/Underworld movie vibes. Either prose of graphic novel. I want action and mystery and maybe conspiracy too.

I also love paranormal elements like monsters and ghosts. And anything witchy! I love characters fighting their own "inner demons” too! I'm selectively open to elements like vampires.
Any atmospheric setting--e.g. an eerie seaside town might be cool!

Happy Spooky Season!! I always want spooky books (especially witchy stuff) but I'm really in the mood for vampires a la THE MORGANVILLE VAMPIRES. Definitely also time for a re-read. #MSWL

I'm feeling burnt out from summer/spring/all-of-2020, but want to go into fall with good energy so here are some of the things I'm looking for! #MSWLWerewolf and vampire romances because I've been feeling super nostalgic lately and it's almost spooky season. #MSWL

Guys, I want vampires. I NEED vampires, but with a twist. IF they are adult/NA and there's HOT romance, send them please. #MSWL QueryManager.com/LisaGreenQueri…

#MSWL I'm a sucker for the fish out of water trope, especially if that fish is fresh to a new identity (freshly turned vampire, just found out hidden paranormal genes run in the family, etc). Add humor, and I'm all-in!

just the concept of black vampires, yes pls! pic.twitter.com/UdeMKymThvIf you’ve got the book, I wanna read it!
I’ll also take any BIPOC fantasy creatures; vampires, werewolves, witches. . . I’m not picky. #MSWL

Vampires, ghosts, zombies, evil cheerleaders, yay! Also creepy amusement parks, graveyards, half-abandoned shopping malls, and weird circuses. #MSWL

I like witches, vampires, and some fairies. I am not the right agent for talking animals, dragons, or anything with a portal #MSWL

In YA SFF: I want projects like Attack The Block (2011) and Vampires Vs. The Bronx (2020). #mswl

#MSWL - YA or MG paranormal: vampires, werewolves, oh my! Particularly interested in paranormal from underrepresented points of view and stories that bring something new to the genre. Related: contemp fantasy a la LEGENDBORN, a 2020 fav, too.

contemporary fantasy!! i want it!! ESPECIALLY (really only) if it draws from diverse folklore and/or reimagines evergreen fantasy elements (witches, vampires, chosen ones, etc) with BIPOC at the center of the story 👸🏽🧙🏽♀️🧜🏿♀️

Paranormal YA fantasy (can we just call it that again?) Vampires and vampiric beasties, especially queer, especially non-western versions—give me the manananggal! The pontianak! The estrie! But really, any creature that lives a little outside the mainstream and in shadows #MSWL
