My women's fiction list is a little full; I'll be focusing on suspense, thrillers, book club historical, and contemporary novels with an edge for the first half of 2023.

I can’t get enough of: family sagas, female friendships, edgy psychological suspense, closed-setting novels, anti-heroines, smart romances, comedy of manners, found family, genre-blend romcoms, and change-one-thing-in-our-world speculative fiction.

My official #MSWL site is up! Read more about my tastes, what I’m looking for, and even find some fun facts about me here: manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/caro…

My top 2 Adult Romance #MSWL wishes would be:

1. Adventure romance like The Mummy or Romancing the Stone—super steamy & fun, w/ a hint of suspense or the supernatural

2. Contemporary romance series set in a big city w/ a small town vibe—think Friends meets Virgin River

All! The! Romance!

I’m open to almost all* Adult Romance, w/ the following sub-genres as some personal favs: Historical, Suspense, & Paranormal. That being said, I'd love to read anything and everything in between!

*Sci-Fi & Inspirational are not a fit

#MSWL for 2023: give me all of the gen-z/millennial suspense/thrillers by marginalized voices. twisty plot with truly unexpected turns, unforgettable characters, witty dialogue, socioeconomic commentary. pls it will give me renewed life

I would love to find a novel based on this, perhaps dual timelines with some type of suspense element: #MSWL

Feels a bit like tweeting into the void, but before this bird app fully tanks I would really love it if someone sent me a mystery/suspense/thriller with some Mare of Easttown vibes. #MSWL

Crime/thriller. A strong hook. A killer plot. Impossible-to-ignore characters. Think simmering tension and unbearable suspense. (Not currently looking for police procedurals.) #mswl

I would love to see more diversity in my inbox generally, but especially in both YA and Adult Suspense/Thrillers. #mswl

Putting out an #MSWL call for marginalized creators and all of the beautiful intersections therein 🧡

I'd love to see more projects in book club fiction, thrillers, mysteries, suspense, romance, SFF, and horror for middle-grade, YA, & adult readers! Genre blends too!

🤔 Psychological Thriller 🧠

I’m looking for psychological thriller and domestic suspense which is twisty and has a unique hook. I love an unreliable narrator and the feeling of not knowing who to trust. Shock, surprise and confuse me in the best ways!

#MSWL

- suspense and psychological thrillers, but specifically with a textured, vibrant sense of setting (think Gillian Flynn’s SHARP OBJECTS)
- folklore and mythological retellings, particularly non-Eurocentric traditions
- magical realism

Agents, send me suspense with the wacky hijinx vibe of “See How They Run,” pleaseeeee #mswl

#MSWL: My adult #fiction list will be smaller but think upmarket #BookClub fiction or domestic suspense--something that will keep me up at night. Really enjoyed Angie Kim's Miracle Creek. Has to feel #contemporary, braiding together issues of social import & identity.

I'm eagerly seeking commercial thrillers, horror, and domestic suspense, as well as upmarket speculative fiction.

In all of these genres, I'm looking for high concept stories with something new to say.

Send me adult + #YA literary thrillers and horror. I am a suspense junkie, who loves to be scared, and I can go very, very dark--except please no violence against children or rape. But blood and gore are fine.

As are creepy dolls and bad romance (but maybe not together?).

Help me ignore the news! #amquerying writers, I'm on the hunt for some proper page turners across genres, but particularly fresh thrillers/suspense - it is spooky season after all... #MSWL

#MSWL I am open to queries! Looking for Adult and Crossover SFF, and Adult Speculative that blends either WF, horror, literary fiction, or suspense with speculative elements.
Looking forward to seeing your work!
