We updated our romantic suspense guidelines last year and are actively doing outreach to find authors who are writing LGBTQ+ stories. I know that category romance in general and Harlequin in particular have not always been quick to embrace stories from underrepresented voices.

I'd love some genre fiction (thriller/suspense/crime/speculative) from unique perspectives with authentic and unusual narrative voices. But I'm not the best fit for true crime or epic fantasy.

I’m REALLY looking for mystery/thrillers/suspense in both the YA and adult space, ESPECIALLY from marginalized populations. However, I am not the right fit for law enforcement protagonists or love interests.
