I usually prefer contemporary or near-historical realism, but will sometimes consider speculative fiction, fantasy, psych thrillers, lite dystopian, literary horror, and paranormal (especially dealing with ghosts). #MSWL

1: High-concept contemporary is what’s making my heart sing right now. I recently read SHINE by Jessica Jung and devoured it. That said, hints at the speculative are always special for me. (Focus on hints.)

I finished line editing a client’s gorgeous MS that’s a family saga with a speculative twist, & I feel like I know generations of a whole town’s worth of people so intimately. Please send me more family sagas with speculative twists. I would so love more books like this. #MSWL
