see previous retweet: I could go for a reindeer herder novel (reflective antler paint optional but encouraged) #mswl
i'm picturing #ownvoices, maybe a coming-of-age. I feel like the setting could make for a great suspense. and/or something that engages with climate change...
I Am Lauren Jernigan 🌜 @LEJerni13You know how there’s definitely a production assistant running the AI system via Remote Desktop for #TheCircleNetflix contestants? I want a romance story about one falling in love with their contestant and helping them not say stupid things to other players.
I JUST SAID I wasn't going to do these anymore, but... #MSWL
Tara🔮✨Open to Queries. @Literary_TaraHI! YOU GUYS! I got an arc for DEWDROP from @OniPress and @strangelykatie. AND IT IS AWESOME. I loved THE TEA DRAGON SOCIETY, so I, of course, loved this
It's a great children's book about trying your best. Make sure you check it out.
Also, someone, I want an illustrator/author like Katie and THE TEA DRAGON SOCIETY. I love her work. #MSWL
Here are my two first super specific #mswl of 2020! (1) A picture book about the golden ratio. I hated math as a kid but golden rectangle + where it's appeared in history fascinated me. (2) An MG novel featuring a "third culture" kid. As a current ex pat, I know these kids!
Megan Ilnitzki @megilnitAnd across all age groups, stories where, despite nay-saying voices (whether they be internal/external or both), a main character comes into their own and recognizes their inherent power, self-worth, and unique place in the world. #mswl
