I’m a bit late to the conversation but: THE QUEEN’S GAMBIT, y’all! I’m as obsessed with it as my 16-year-old self once was with the musical, Chess. This kind of elegant, cerebral-to-the-point-of-the-almost-fantastical, setting-rich, character-driven storytelling is my fave. #MSWL

The first time I saw the cover for @reneewauthor’s LOVE IS A REVOLUTION, I was stunned. I’d never seen a MC look like me until then. When I read FAT CHANCE, CHARLIE VEGA, I felt seen.

I want a fabulous plus size MC with Lizzo vibes living her best life and taking center stage.

I really really want some dark academia/secret society/cult books. Whether it’s gothic and horror, fantasy or mystery, I NEED this in my life. ‼️‼️

Until I find them, I desperately want BIPOC witches and/or psychics!! Each culture has its own mythology that deserves to be showcased. Let’s dive deep!
