Here’s the thing: I read this as HORSE and now I want it. Bring me your YA horror novels with a huge haunted wild horse on an island. Like a Misty of Chincoteague meets RL stine. #MSWL

THIS. My #MSWL includes all kinds of Bi and queer relationships, but as a straight agent I worry if I call for opposite-sex romance in bi rep I may sound like “make it gay… just not TOO gay.” I want bi teens in all their glory!

In honor of the horrible excuse for a human who posted on my community FB page about a “sex club” at the local middle school- her post including a photo of an adorable, hand-made flier for the gay pride club, please send me your queer MG stories. Let’s get ‘em published. #MSWL

I could do a whole #MSWL on this (MG or YA only please!) so here goes:
-Enchanted. Takes place in one night. Intense romance

- The last great American dynasty. Gimme the outsider protag who kinda relishes screwing up high society

- anything with ONLY THE YOUNG energy

So this is really specific, but if anyone has a project they'd pitch as Jurassic Park but in Space (MG or YA), I MUST HAVE IT. It'd be sweet if they're actually dinos, (WHY are their dinos in space? I don't know) but I'd take aliens or something else. #MSWL

I will also add there is a tendency when looking at YA fantasy to over-simplify with "This fairy tale/classic re-telling is overdone" but when you look at it, it's all white/western retellings. I am 100% open to retellings from new perspectives. #MSWL #AskECLA

I will forever want more survival stories-- Hatchet was one of my faves growing up, I loved THE RAFT, OBLIVION ROAD, FIVE TOTAL STRANGERS, etc. If they're snowed in, stranded at sea, stuck in a desert, I want to read it. MG & YA. #MSWL #AskECLA

I LOVE anything that plays with formats. Diaries, letters, infographics, etc. YA & MG. #MSWL

As a farm girl I'm also down for ALLLL your 4-H, FFA, cows, chickens, horses, goats, pigs, and beyond. I love that childhood kid + pet combo (in MG especially but would like a more teen/equestrian combo as well for YA!) #MSWL #AskECLA

I would LOVE anything with "found families" or unconventional families, MG or YA. #MSWL #AskECLA #askAgent #Amquerying
