Just found out that people from the Ivory Coast are called Ivorian. Now I want a fantasy set there. #obscuretaste #MSWL

“Commercial Fiction and Rom Coms (especially with a diverse cast!) like AYESHA AT LAST, JANE THE VIRGIN, ONE DAY IN DECEMBER, THE PROPOSAL, and Elin Hilderbrand. I need a very strong hook.” @carlywatters #MSWL

I just need a book to match the beauty and essence that is this picture. Everything else...surprise me. #mswl

Terminator: Dark Fate @Terminator

Welcome to the day after Judgment Day. Producer James Cameron returns with director Tim Miller for #TerminatorDarkFate. In theatres 11.1.19. Watch the official trailer now.

Here's hoping this movie inspires more studios to fund movies starring women in their 60s hunting monsters

And more writers to send me books where mothers and grandmothers are smart and fierce and capable and the Bad Guys are mutable and complex. #MSWL

Christian Sahner @ccsahner

Thanks to @AARWeb and @ReadingReligion for a great review of Christian Martyrs under Islam: “This is an excellent and balanced book that I highly recommend for scholars and advanced students in every field related to the Middle East.” @PrincetonUPress…

Had the luck of starting—+ well on track to finishing—this terrific account of martyrdom under Islam; another example of a #MSWL NF for this agent in love with research. Hagiographies are studies of exp.; v. interesting to see personal/communal exps. contextualized historically.
