Happy #MSWL Day! I’m an acquiring editor for Entangled. For both YA and Adult, I’m actively seeking commercial / high-concept stories. I’m open to most genres as long as there’s a strong romantic element.

#MSWL Looking for Black LGBTQ+ memoir and narrative nonfiction with voice, edge, sex, beauty, risk, and truth. Identity, family, art, politics, desire, survival, reinvention—give me something alive, stylish, and unforgettable. Guidelines in reply.

#MSWL I reopened to queries on Jan 15. Signed 2 new clients so far! I ONLY represent ADULT novels and ADULT graphic novels in these core categories: romance, science fiction, fantasy, and horror. More info at

#MSWL This is not an exhaustive list of things I’m looking for, so I always encourage you to try me as long as it falls within the genres I’m open to!

#MSWL Speculative puzzle-box mysteries!

#MSWL Non-Western mythology and folklore! Greek mythology gets a lot of attention, and I’d love to find stories that shine a light on folklore and mythology from different parts of the world

#MSWL Pacey, page-turning, and entertaining plots with layers of social commentary

#MSWL I adore an amazing twist that I never saw coming!! Especially if it feels earned

#MSWL I’m particularly excited to discover stories by and about underrepresented voices in all of the genres I’m looking for, and will be prioritizing those submissions

#MSWL Horror! I'm still loving horror of all flavors, but I’d love to see more high concept horror that turns tropes on their head to stand out amongst the crowd

#MSWL Speculative book club fiction where one thing is changed about the world, and how that influences the characters and society around them. Think THE MEASURE, NEVER LET ME GO, THE MERGE, or SEVERANCE (the tv show)

#MSWL Genre-bending with a stellar one-line hook! I adore reading surprising genre mashups, especially in the fantasy, SF, and horror spaces, or something fun like HOW TO KILL A GUY IN TEN DATES

This is a high priority for me in YA in particular!

Happy #MSWL Day! Pasting the link to my wish list for when I open in spring (dates TBD), along with a thread of a few specific things I'd love to see in both adult and YA!

For middle-grade (novels and GNs), I lean toward mysteries and puzzles. Light spookiness is okay, but nothing too scary creepy for me, please! Think THE GHOST OF SPRUCE POINT by Nancy Tandon (nancytandon.bsky.social, one of my clients) and GHOST SQUAD by Claribel A. Ortega.

#MSWL

I would love a really smart kind of island horror like Hemlock Island by Kelley Armstrong. #MSWL

I will be open to queries in the first week of March and the first week of April. I hope to hear from you!

Happy #MSWL Day!
I love it when a story has me googling at 1am because I cannot believe it is real
I want your strange corners of history, your niche obsessions, & your flawed but lovable characters who feel painfully human. I want to learn something & be completely captivated along the way

Hello and happy #MSWL day!
