I like 19th and 20th century historical fiction, especially if it's combined with another genre, like mystery, speculative or horror. #MSWL

I enjoy books with a psychological bent, whether it's psychological horror, a nonfiction book about psychology, or just a book with really rich characters. #MSWL

#MSWL I'm over winter and ready for some summer vibes in my reading. Romance? Yes! Horror? Yes! Give me two people falling in love at the beach or bad things happening at summer camp. I'm open!

#MSWL Witches! In all kinds of stories. Cozy, dark, horror, romance, historical, mystery, dual timelines, literally whatever you got, I want to see it.

#MSWL I love that paranormal romance is making a comeback, and am interested in seeing speculative romance of all stripes. I'm open to both cozy OR the darker end of the spectrum, as long as the stakes are high and immediate.

I'd love to see more surrealism and fabulism in my inbox. #MSWL

I love all manner of mysteries: literary suspense, noir, historical, psychological thrillers, cozies, etc. #MSWL

I'm more drawn to upmarket and literary fiction than commercial fiction. Really I just want a strong voice and strong characters. #MSWL

I love hilarious writing, whether it's a fresh rom-com or cozy mystery. Bring on the funny! #MSWL

Historical fiction is also always a #MSWL . I'd love to see stories in some new time periods (esp 1930s, 1950s) and ones that are drawing parallels and making history relevant to our current world. Always love to see dual timelines!

Though I sometimes represent younger children's books for existing clients, I am currently seeking out just YA and adult books. #MSWL

I enjoy all manner of horror novels: psychological horror, cosmic horror, folk horror, horror-romance, horror-comedy, ghosts, etc. #MSWL

Mystery / suspense / thrillers are always on my #MSWL . I love immersive settings that drive the plot and psychological stories that employ well-worn tropes in new and interesting ways.

Though I'm not the right person for full on fantasy or sci-fi, I like books that incorporate speculative elements and are set in the real world. #MSWL

I'm drawn to books about nature, whether it's a creepy YA horror novel set at summer camp or a narrative nonfiction book about the environment. #MSWL

For YA & Adult, I’m looking for grounded fantasy. I’m not typically the one for fantasy-fantasy. I love a “our world but weird/witchy/magical/supernatural.” NINTH HOUSE is one of my all-time favorites (I have a tattoo for it) & I also loved working with S.Isabelle on her debut YA, THE WITCHERY #MSWL

I'd also love to see more hybrid memoirs with great writing and platform. #MSWL
