Nonfiction is harder for me to pin down, but I am mostly interested in subjects that relate to humanity and community. Some topics I will be looking for include: spirituality, intuition, natural living, culture, food, and agriculture.

I would love to find something that breaks the expected norms of a trope in a satisfying way, and am happy to look at things that bend or combine genres!

I love contemporary romance, but prefer it to be part of a "bigger picture" story (think THE ARC by Tory Henwood Hoen)

Literary Agent
I am drawn to dark stories, especially with weird or whimsical elements (BUNNY by Mona Awad is a fav, as well as GOOD RICH PEOPLE by Eliza Jane Brazier)

Here we go, I am officially open to queries. 🎉My full #mswl is on ArtHouse's website, but here's some highlights:
In fiction, I am only taking on adult novels. I am also limiting myself to contemporary only—mild speculative elements are okay if they are very grounded, but I'm not taking sci-fi or fantasy (sorry!)

"I'm on the lookout for mystery thrillers that explore a 'true crime' in their fictional world. Who does it impact, and how? What is justice? Think A GOOD GIRL'S GUIDE TO MURDERING, NOTHING CAN HURT YOU, MY FLAWLESS LIFE, and JACKAL."

Before I close to queries, does anyone have anything like a modern take on 1984? #MSWLWhile I'm going old school, I'd also be interested in something along the lines of Brave New World. I especially like the technological elements of this, like the hatchery. #MSWL

#mswl (applies to all fiction!) and shoutout to @bookculture for my cute “blind date with a book” 😻😙

"Send me Gothic fiction with possibly a modern storyline, too (like MEXICAN GOTHIC and THE LITTLE STRANGER)."

Barring some fulls and a couple of partials, I am caught up on queries! With that in mind, I'm widening my wishlist and am now open for MG and YA as usual, as well as, apropos of [REDACTED], adult romance. Think Emily Henry, Talia Hibbert, Ashley Poston! Can't wait to read! #mswl

Oop! Just want to clarify something because I realize I may have been unclear: I am looking to represent picture books and graphic novels ONLY. I'm happy to look at queries for authors, illustrators, and author-illustrators, but at this time I'm not looking for prose novels.
