Dark academia is one of my favorite settings, but I love any claustrophobic, condensed settings or settings as character. I’d especially love to see dark academia that explores themes of race and class

LOVE horror- anything with dark cottagecore horror (give me plants and fungi) body horror, and cults are a fan favorite!!

This list is very non-exhaustive!! I love finding those books that I initially think might not be my cup of tea and then I read it a fall in love. These are just a few of the genres I’m looking out for:)

Finally YA mystery or thrillers. I am a SUCKER for mystery in a small town, and kids left to their own defenses to solve it

Would love to see more books with dark academia setting/ competitive high stakes, romance and/or magic woven into the plot
