I'm interested in a wide range of fiction & would love to add more nonfiction to my list. I prefer NF to be accessible & conversational (in the vein of Mary Roach for kids), & often like nonfiction lessons packaged in a fun fictional story (like my client @Stef_Wade's books!).

MG: This is the area I'd most like to expand!
YA: My first love! I'm always looking for YA that stands out.
Select adult SFF & horror.
Always open to author-illustrators & graphic novels. Plus @DanieleDHunter & I LOVE novels-in-verse! We tend toward lyrical writing generally.

PB: I'm looking for PB much more sparingly than before, as my list is very full in this area. I'm not looking for rhyming PB.
Chapter books/early readers: Not looking for new authors here, I already have amazing clients writing these!

ChristAHH HeschkEEK! @ChristaHeschke
Just wanted to share some #MSWL updates as we're heading into the end of the year!First and foremost, across all categories & genres, @DanieleDHunter and I are looking to uplift BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and disabled/chronically ill experiences (though we would not force an author to publicly share their identity if they aren't comfortable doing so).

Rebecca Rodd @rebroddreads
But right now I would especially love to see:- anything set on an HBCU campus
- all of the magical realism
- mythological retellings
- romance/love stories (deep and profound and HARD or light and feel good)
- all the millennial joy and adulting hardships
Y'all I got to talk with @rebroddreads today and she is amazing. Definitely send her your stuff (so then she can sell it to me and we can all work together).
And I want everything in this list #MSWL

I am never without unannounced publishing secrets anymore, but this has been certainly one of the hardest to keep! So happy to finally share with the world that I've been promoted to ✨editor✨ 🥳🥳🥳 pic.twitter.com/9iX9Np3O6uAlso, seems like the perfect time to share my #MSWL at carolinaiortiz.com/manuscript-wis… Looking forward to seeing those submissions come in!
And agent colleagues, if it's been a minute since we've connected or have never had the chance before, I'm always up for a call or zoom coffee 😁

"Sci-fi & fantasy novels. I love them. I read a ton of them. But they have to be accessible. What does that mean? It means that readers who don't traditionally pick up much sci-fi/fantasy, can pick up one of these novels & enjoy it.” @ericsmithrocks #MSWL ericsmithrocks.com/mswl

New #mswl: mysteries a lá #ONLYMUDERSINTHEBUILDING. I spent the weekend binging it and am obsessed. I love mismatched strangers coming together to solve a crime, the limited setting of the apartment building, the secretssss, & the comedic approach to crime fiction. GIMMEE MOREE
