Specific wishes in Middle Grade Fiction:
Fantasy, especially fairytale and myth retellings
Plot- and character-driven stories with literary writing and commercial appeal
Stories featuring boys as main characters
Action/adventure stories, especially those heavy on humour
Disability/neurodiverse/chronic illness representation
Stories that celebrate diverse cultures

I just devoured the second Meihan Booey (THE ENIGMATIC MRS INGRAM) and

1. If you like the Emily Wilde / cozy paranormal / myths minding their own business space, read these ASAP. They're delightful speculative mysteries set in Singapore, I'd read a hundred of them.

I’m seeking commercial fiction for YA and adult audiences, especially in the romance, fantasy, mythology, dark academia, horror, thriller, & dystopian genres.

It's #MSWL day! I'm looking for fiction: propulsive and atmospheric crime fiction, immersive historical adventures, myth-based fantasy. I adore: Dark, macabre atmosphere; creatives as MCs; outdoor adventures & more! I open to Qs on the 10th of each month.

#MSWL Non-Western mythology and folklore! Greek mythology gets a lot of attention, and I’d love to find stories that shine a light on folklore and mythology from different parts of the world

#MSWL Unusual retellings, and fiction that has a mythic quality or creates new myths! Bonus points for morally gray protagonists, stories that open doors to secret knowledge or hidden worlds, and genre elements from fantasy to historical with a twist, spec fic, and literary-commercial fiction.
