Alex Petrovnia, bane of TERFs and anti of fa @AlexPetrovnia
So apparently today was the first time a lot of people on my TL learned what a TERF is, so I’m going to educate y’all on some more queer history, since it’s shockingly unknown. For today, let’s talk about the color pink. 🧵

Contemporary WITCHES and covens. #YA and #MG, but keep it grounded in this world—think: The Craft or Practical Magic. I'm also on board with other #magicalrealism in styles of Laura Ruby, Anna-Marie McLemore, Emily X.R. Pan, Katrina Leno, Ibi Zoboi's American Street #MSWL

I've been an Agatha Christie obsessive since my blessed 6th grade teacher gave me "And Then There Were None," so PLEASE send me all your #YA and #MG Agatha-inspired #whodunnits like #trulydevious and the movie #knivesout. #MSWL

SO EXCITED to announce that I'm now open to queries at @EmeraldCityLit & will represent #YA and #MG fiction projects alongside agents @MandyHubbard and @LindaEpstein. I'm so grateful to them both for being such incredible mentors. #amquerying submit here:QueryManager.com/caitlinwhite
Last but not least...I don’t normally open for science fiction, but I’m really looking for something in the MG or YA space to knock my socks off. I don’t want anything set in space or with ships. I’ll keep my inbox open to this genre open until the end of February.
Thrillers! MG, YA, or adult. I want to sit on the edge of my seat. I want to question the narrator. If you have something like The Flight Attendant or You, then send away.
I’m jonesing for something unique in MG and YA—think lyrical voice or a unique format.

Dare I post this?? Now that my inbox is back to a manageable level, I have some things I’m really in the mood to read. #MSWL a thread... pic.twitter.com/bxafODtmypI am a complete sucker for teens who are activists. If you have a MG or YA where the kids engage in their community to invoke change, I’d love to see it.

For MG readers, I’m keen to find a funny, female focused story with series potential (think Louise Rennison or Karen McCombie) and an adventure story for that age group too. I love anything creepy and spooky, so please send anything like that along to me too.
