Hey, #querying peeps! My middle grade selection in my inbox is terribly low. Want to help fill it? Send your #MG query and first five pages pasted in the body of an email to: querylynnette (at) theseymouragency (dot) com. #amwriting #MSWL Thanks! I'll be waiting!!!

Officially have my own Manuscript Wish List profile! And I already found one typo and there are certainly more which is why I will not get mad at your accidental typos in queries (we're all just people!). #MSWL…

#mswl MG I’d love to see a manuscript about the drama, the friendships, etc., that happen in an after-school aftercare program that’s part of a middle school but not really. A Breakfast-Club-esque kind of group.

“I’d love a super feminine adventure story for Middle Grade. Think mystery, high stakes, and difficult situations mixed with bright colors, glitter, and gemstones.” @msmariavicente #MSWL

I'm about to close to queries, but before I do, I'd really love to see some heartfelt MG in my inbox, along with twisty psychological thrillers & smart horror. #mswl

@erin_clyburn @Megan_Manzano @Literary_Tara What’s at the TOP of your MSWL? Anything you’re dying to see?! 😁

Horror, above all. In MG, YA, and adult. All kinds of horror. I'd also love to see a great adult pop science, like Mary Roach, or bio/history of a lesser known person/event, like RADIUM GIRLS. #MSWL #askagent

Caitlin McDonald @literallycait · 23 Jul 2019

Just updated my website with an extensive #mswl post for when I open to queries next week. If you're thinking of querying me, please be sure to check it out! #askagent #querytip

#MSWL -- I'm still on the hunt for middle grade, and would particularly love a fun middle grade series with action, adventure, and perhaps some magic or a dash (or heaping cupful) of the paranormal!

Continuing to put this out in the universe: my hope is to find a big MG series in the next few months: MG fantasy, adventure, paranormal, scifi, etc...something exciting & brimful of imagination and heart, with characters who are at once brave and vulnerable. #MSWL

Molly Cusick @molly_cusick · 23 Jul 2019

Random #MSWL: I'd love a MG that deals explicitly with periods: the pain, the missing school, gym class, worrying about your pants/your chair, all that. I got mine between 5th and 6th grade at Disney World -- DISNEY WORLD -- and it was a game. changer.

Jennifer Laughran @literaticat · 20 Jul 2019

I updated my #MSWL page. I’m looking for MG, YA, kids/teen GN, and author-illustrators. Great writing a must, high concept a plus, and diversity in all ways is welcome. I love your queer, weird, funny, beautiful, nerdy SHENANIGANS. More info:…

And finally my evergreen #MSWL right now: mermaids. Evil mermaids. Magical realism mermaids. 13th Year Mermaids.

And Ren Faire contemporary.

And Spice Girls friendship break-up MG or YA.
