Literary “Romance”—I want a deeply thematic & potentially twisted story about complexity of relationships/ love.

HEA ok but prefer not.

Lots of interiority but center around an external happening!

LGBTQ+ yes! But prefer when sexuality is not the main conflict

- Kid lit centering queer history
- Explorations of sustainability through an intersectional lens, food justice, urban gardening, and our relationship to the land

- Queer contemp and historical fiction with gorgeous prose and a strong hook
- Queer and/or BIPOC romance across categories. Steam (in adult) is welcome but not required!
- Cozy mysteries for millennials
- SFF with a strong romantic element, or romance with a strong SFF element

Adult/YA Romantasy:

I really want to see queer stories here (and everywhere else too!). I especially want sapphic and trans/nonbinary characters. High or low stakes is okay here so long as the romance is believable and I get the worldbuilding! 9/?

I'm very open to #diversity of every kind. It's such a given in my house (with gay kids), and my sales list is very diverse, so I didn't really think about specifying that. I'm sorry for any confusion.

Some queer #MSWL ! First, stories about marginalized and queer people going abroad and finding themselves. Or queer romance featuring equestrians. Any tennis centered queer books PLEASE?! And a general call out for trans stories from trans authors.

4) In the adult nonfiction space, I'm dying for books by LGBTQ+ evangelicals who are challenging the Christian space from within the faith and bringing new perspectives (Kate Bowler, Matthew Vines, Rachel Held Evans)
