Beth celebrated Boston #pride a couple weeks ago with this badass sign. AND here is your reminder that many agents on #TeamBookEnds are actively seeking #LGBTQ & #ownvoices representation across the genres! #query #mswl instagram.com/p/BkXxBHwh7FD/

16yo Whit is riding a bus to NYC, hoping to find her father. Along the way, she tells her seatmate about the life-and the girl-she left behind in FL. MOSQUITOLAND x WE ARE OKAY in a story that alternates b/t past and present, lies and truth. #PitMad #YA #CON #LGBTThis sounds amazing! #MSWL

It's pride month! I'm gonna re-up my publishing ask for more upper middle-grade / younger YA books that feature kids (esp kids of color) who identify as being on the ltbtqia+ spectrum, THANKS.This is eternally on my #MSWL. I really want diverse lgbtqia+ middle grade on my client list, especially stories for those queer girl-identifying tweens.

Reminder that not all work by POC must be weighty, dramatic books. White authors got to write thousands of fluffy books and cash the checks. We shouldn't be appreciated only when it gets dark and horrible.I so badly want these “fluffy” YA books by POC and LGBTQ+ writers. As much as I love angst and think “issue books” are super important, I also love ridiculously fun stories that make readers feel good about life (including their identities). #MSWL

I dug through hundreds of obituaries & spoke to gay ballplayers from the 1940s up through the 1990s to find the queer history of women in baseball that we stand to lose if it isn't documented. narrative.ly/the-hidden-que…

Y'all, I'm really in the mood for some queer scifi romance, especially if it's somewhat light in tone. (Less BSG, more Firefly.) Spaceships, other worlds, fun times, please. #MSWL

I want a gay thing about gay adults who are relatively well-adjusted and aren't dying, that is wistful, hopeful, fun. I realize history and present circumstance don't quite allow for that but it'd be nice. A MOONLIGHT that's all that meal, or GOD'S OWN COUNTRY: THE TOGETHER YEARSHell yes #MSWL
