I see SO MUCH WWI and WWII plots. GIVE ME LGBTQ+! What happened to nurses who smuggle jews from concentration camps and fall in love? What about soldiers on the front lines who turn lovers? I WANT THEM. This includes Trans characters #MSWL

It's pride month! I'm gonna re-up my publishing ask for more upper middle-grade / younger YA books that feature kids (esp kids of color) who identify as being on the ltbtqia+ spectrum, THANKS.

This is eternally on my #MSWL. I really want diverse lgbtqia+ middle grade on my client list, especially stories for those queer girl-identifying tweens.

Reminder that not all work by POC must be weighty, dramatic books. White authors got to write thousands of fluffy books and cash the checks. We shouldn't be appreciated only when it gets dark and horrible.

I so badly want these “fluffy” YA books by POC and LGBTQ+ writers. As much as I love angst and think “issue books” are super important, I also love ridiculously fun stories that make readers feel good about life (including their identities). #MSWL
