I love certain messages in PBs and am always seeking LGBTQ+ diverse & neurodiverse voices in PBs. But remember: story needs to be written for KIDS who read those books, not the parents/adults, in order for the message to be absorbed. Make it fun AND informative. #querytip #MSWL

I watched the new CBS show Instinct (based on a Patterson book) last night. Some of the dialogue could have been more natural, but I didn't realize that it's the first crime show with a gay lead character (and actor). I'm here for that.

This is a 2018 #MSWL goal of mine. I want a crime novel with an #LGBTQ lead character.
