#MSWL I’m still really hoping to find my first author/illustrator. See my wish list for more of what I look for in art styles. I’m open to picture books and graphic novels. While I’m open to any kind of story, I’d love a little fantastical whimsy.

As a note, I'm fluent in Spanish and French, can read and understand a bunch of Italian and Portuguese, have studied a bit of Korean, and am currently obsessed with Chinese dramas. I absolutely want to get more queries from BIPOC authors and illustrators to better fill that hole in my list. #MSWL

Since June is Pride month and I’ll be open to submissions the first 10 days, I want to be extra clear that I always love getting queries from LGBTQIA+ writers and illustrators. #MSWL

Since my slush pile will be reopening June 1, here's an updated #MSWL for holes in my current list:

PICTURE BOOKS #PB
Picture books with multiple, distinct hooks, clear/concise writing, and original concepts. I am open to working with both authors and author-illustrators in this space.
