I would love a really smart kind of island horror like Hemlock Island by Kelley Armstrong. #MSWL

I like 19th and 20th century historical fiction, especially if it's combined with another genre, like mystery, speculative or horror. #MSWL

I enjoy books with a psychological bent, whether it's psychological horror, a nonfiction book about psychology, or just a book with really rich characters. #MSWL

#MSWL I am really looking for YA romance/fantasy, horror, and dystopian.

I love a good noir voice, and am always on the lookout for speculative takes on mystery romance (Twin Peaks meets The Big Sleep). If I'm not reading romance I'm reading horror and weird fiction: some recent faves include We Love You, Bunny, The Starving Saints, and The Salt Grows Heavy.
