Writers: our website is still in development but I want new submissions. #mswl 🧵:

High-concept YA - if it includes & addresses untold histories / historically marginalized characters, all the better

YA horror - ALL OF IT

Literary / commercial-literary horror - see above…

My client list is filling up, so I will be even more selective this time. My #mswl includes:
- high concept board, picture, and chapter books (new concept easily understood in just a few words)
- YA contemporary like Jenny Han and John Green (commercial but bends a bit literary).

I'm ready to read! Where are my high concept, unputdownable, story driven manuscripts? Do you have a novel I can get lost in? Any genre of adult fiction that fits the bill (sorry no erotica). This #mswl is for the #WritingCommunity #amquerying authors. Send queries my way 📚✍️💛

6) For YA, I would love a high concept thriller, something broody and moody but also tightly plotted in the fantasy/horror space (I adore "House of Hollow"!!), and heart-wrenching, emotional sci-fi like "The Ones We're Meant to Find."

High-concept, female-led thrillers. We prefer our protagonists snarky and morally gray. Who doesn’t love a messed up antiheroine?

We’re also looking for writers in the crime & mystery space. Very commercial and propulsive. Could be dark or light and quirky, like KNIVES OUT. 3/4
