I have a deep and abiding love for "spooky" picture books that are really cozy stories with supernatural characters. A ghost gets over it's fear of public speaking? A skeleton and a zombie become friends? That's my jam.

For romantasy: no more high fae, I have a full list! Give me more dramoine, Lumoine (iykyk), monster romance, angels (biblically accurate or otherwise), ghosts, paranormal Y2K vibes. Still I plead for orc romance, please someone send me some.

And more niche - I'd love a cult story, a truly scary atmospheric ghost story (Think Dark Matter by Michelle Paver), The Traitors in a book, an Ace protagonist, a Yellowjackets horror and a sarky voice driven teen contemporary about Middle School and how hard it is!

Would love to see more cozy mysteries! Whether it’s a traditional one a la Amanda Flower or something a bit more in the vein of DIAL A FOR AUNTIES.
I love bookish or cooking premises, something that is lightly paranormal (think witches or a friendly ghost.) and an animal companion!

Horror is my favorite genre, so I'm open to all ages (& she gets her own graphic). I want gritty final girls, monsters, unique settings that are the horror, tropes flipped upside down, scream but even gayer, and a dash of hope at the end. Got ghosts? SEND 'EM. #MSWL (3/6)

I’m primarily looking for romance, specifically:

-Romance with a spec twist (witches, ghosts, magic, timeloops, love spells, soulmates, etc.)
-Romantasy (but the worldbuilding needs to feel very grounded and accessible with the focus more on the “rom” than the “fantasy”)

I'd love to see ghost stories! I may be a bit more selective here, as I'm lucky to have a gorgeous ghost story on my list (hi again, @k_dishmon !!), but feel free to try me.

Note that I’m not a fit for other paranormal characters ( werewolves, vampires, zombies, faeries, etc.).

I love a speculative twist and will always be in for a bit of magic. I’m looking for things like Addie Larue, Jane the Virgin, and Extraordinary. I also love a non-horror ghost story, where the ghosts have larger meaning. Give me Hill House and Watch Over Me.

One last particular spooky #MSWL : A Japanese horror featuring Japanese ghosts / folklore from a Japanese author would be AMAZING. If you can comp to a Chilla's Art game, I would be so happy. OR a horror centered around video games would be *chef's kiss*
