You know what I'd like to see more of in genre fiction?

Pre-established romantic relationships.
Like.
The story isn't about "finding love" but about people who are already IN LOVE, who already worked through the shaky beginnings, who are comfortable & stable w/each other

#MSWL: MG SFF, contemporary realism, and historical fiction featuring Latinx kids from Central and South America and/or American kids whose heritage is from those areas. It's a big gap in children's lit and my list specifically.
