Einstein Literary @Einstein_LitBook twitter--who's got great crime fiction to send to ELM submissions? I long for a great heist novel with tight tricksy plotting and great characters. Think Clean Break, or The Score, or Void Moon--ideally from more marginalized voices. #MSWL
Also I would love a novel that takes something mundane but criminal and, via great characters, plot, and dialogue, makes it feel exciting and inevitable. The Trump, Inc. podcasts on real estate tax fraud are a great example of what I'm talking about. #MSWL

Irulan, Princess Royal, Bene Gesserit-trained @Nicole_CliffeWhat’s the one unsolved mystery you most want answers to in your lifetime?
I’m cheating bc it’s MY prompt.
1. What happened to Asha Degree?
2. What happened to the Beaumont Children?
3. Who the HELL was the Freeway Phantom?
I'm just saying, but all these unsolved stories are *exactly* the kind of deep-dive queries I want to see in my inbox. True crime, fiction based on these, whatever. It's my catnip. #MSWL
I admire writers who can write Mystery/Thriller/Crime Fiction & execute it.
I wish I was that talented & I’m so passionate to represent them.
From Raymond Chandler, Agatha Christie, Sue Grafton to Karen Slaughter...if your writing is similar. Please send them my way ❤️ #MSWL

In crime fiction I'm still on the hunt for a great new regional British crime series. I love atmospheric, character driven, rich crime stories like Tana French. I love modern twists on classic detective fiction. I like locked room mysteries and cosy crime villages.
Hattie @hatteatimeI judge all my submissions on three criteria - strength of concept (is it marketable? is it individual? is it interesting?), confidence of voice (you get a sense of the fluency of a voice from one page alone) and sustained compelling storytelling (which I need a full ms to judge)
Right now I'm looking for contemporary fiction (both commercial and upmarket), historical fiction and crime fiction. I'm really keen to hear from diverse voices - BIPOC writers, LGBT writers, regional writers, disabled writers, working class writers, writers without a degree.

I am so excited to join @AevitasCreative and @michellebrower. My #MSWL includes all things crime (fiction/nonfic), literary fic, narrative nonfic, speculative, horror, experimental literary, and more. Queries are open!! Editors, I'm coming for ya.
Just finished THE FIVE by @HallieRubenhold—an incredibly thoughtful work of crime nonfiction. In a genre that elevates serial killers to celebrity, it’s imperative to recenter these narratives around the victims, whose lives are too often overshadowed and lost to history. #MSWL
