Graphic & hybrid novels & series are welcome too! Some examples there from my past titles would be DORK DIARIES and THE OKAY WITCH. Quintessential MG stories about finding your way through the labyrinth of family, school, & friendship twists and turns.

As promised, here’s a little more info about my #mswl for Labyrinth Road! (Thread)

First & foremost—epic, accessible, *character-driven* MG fantasy & adventure series! I’m excited to build series that could sit well alongside my previous projects like KEEPER OF THE LOST CITIES, STORY THIEVES, THE UNWANTEDS, FABLEHAVEN.

I read DEAR SWEET PEA last week and fell in love—it was the perfect balm for the stress. I would love to see more MG that balances a sweet and funny voice with more serious themes, and any submissions that could be comped to SWEET PEA! #MSWL

Some good news for the timeline: My responsibilities at work will be changing in the next couple weeks, & I'll be focusing solely on my own list!

If any agents would like to connect (or reconnect!), I'm happy to chat. In the meantime, here is my #MSWL: editoralexborbolla.wordpress.com/mswl/

My #MSWL of the moment can be split into two camps: delightful cottagecore uplit or romcom with perhaps a VERY light magical touch or delightful cottagecore turned haunted horror: Midsommar meets The Invited.

Yes it’s after 5 on a Friday but I finally read this article I’ve had a tab open for all week and would like to say I’d love to see middle grade or YA submissions that fit into the brilliant & brilliantly structured comedy category. #MSWL theguardian.com/culture/2020/o…

(Agented) I really want a YA horror that has larger social commentary at play. Prefer psychological and haunting as opposed to zombies, etc. This has been a dark time of pain and fear and rage, and I want to see that on the page, through horror tropes. #mswl
