“If we’re both single by a certain age we will marry each other” is always a fun story concept but it could be even better if the pact is made between rivals as a drunken dare and they go on to sabotage each other’s relationships because they’ve been secretly in love all alongI. Need. This. Book. #MSWL

"For romcoms, my taste veers towards genre-blends, i.e., a romcom that’s also a family saga or a romcom com that’s also a thriller. DIAL A FOR AUNTIES by Jesse Q. Sutanto is a great example and my all-time favorite romcom."

For the #amquerying crowd: I feel very privileged to receive the volume of submissions that I do - but I can't quite keep up...I'm therefore trialling closing my subs box every second quarter, starting with April 2022 and will update thenorthlitagency.com/our-friends-in… when I open/close.
Okay - that's me closed for submissions for the rest of 2022! I am looking forward to catching up on submissions already received, and will let the #amquerying crowd know what my #mswl is when I reopen in early 2023 again.

Absolutely horrifying in all the good ways. I realize that there is already a novel out there based on this island, but I'd love to see something similar. #MSWL tinyurl.com/ywddwfza

You know that scene in Rings of Power where ****** is in *********'s head and it's the evil one being all join me and be my light etc?Gimme that same energy but genderbent and/or queer.
#mswl
Sorry, I should clarify:
There should be kissing while the dagger is at the throat and the good one definitely decides to join the evil one and be their queen/king/monarch or imperial partner or whatever.
And there should be corruption sex.

I think there is a desperate need to fill the upper middle grade/young YA space.I also think there's a desperate need for young middle grade that is much shorter to transition readers from chapter books to MG. I so rarely see subs in that space. We need to fix that.
Writers, if you have something that will fit this description, please query me! #WritingCommunity #amquerying #MSWL
