We must acknowledge the fact that there was a point in Japanese history where they tried to wipe out the entire country of Korea. This cannot be swept under the rug.THIS MUST BE TAUGHT.
This is what I’m looking for in historical fiction. I’d love a YA along the lines of Pachinko #mswl

AFTERSHOCKS by @NadiaOwusu1 is officially my favorite memoir ever— #amquerying writers this is the perfect example of how to share stories with specificity, vulnerability, and, of course, beautiful writing. And I love the world history woven into the protagonist's journey. #MSWL

I LOVE the iconic buildings of Paul R. Williams, but I had no idea how important he and his work really were. I would love to see a picture book about this man and his architecture. #mswl

#MSWL autistic main characters written by autistic authors.
I can see when the research a NT writer has done consists solely of media exposure to, rather than interaction w/ND people.
These authors mean well. But media exposure is NOT enough to write w/o harm to the community.

#MSWL autistic characters by autistic authors, ALWAYS.
(This is not to say I think NT writers shouldn't include ND characters, but this treatment is super gross I cannot nope that hard enough)
