@LifeinFiction you are so right (again)! THE ROOMMATE by @rosiedanan is amazing and just what I needed to read this weekend. When I reopen to queries in a few days, I'd love to see books like this in my inbox. #amreading #MSWL

This post will no doubt attract some hate comments, but something needs to be said. Why does the whisky industry still hold Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible in such high regard when his tasting notes are so sexist and vulgar?1/ (Thread)
hey, someone want to pitch me a better Whiskey Bible? #MSWL

I’m looking to add 2-3 nonfiction authors & books to my list before 2020 is out. I’m seeking books with a prescriptive bent to them in business, career, personal development, self-help, & cultural & social issues. #MSWL

I finished season two of Pen15 & I am shattered. I wouldn’t have gotten through middle school without my own ride-or-die, who is still my BFF today (check out these 7th grade math team nerds/soulmates). Please send me books about middle/HS friendships like Maya & Anna’s. #MSWL

One thing I'd love to see publishing do is buy more quiet stories by marginalized creators. Whenever I pitch a new project, I feel like I have to use ‼️BIG FLASHY COMPS‼️Marginalized authors deserve to tell quiet stories, too. Happy stories. Stories where we can just...exist.
Sometimes the quiet stories can be more powerful than the flashy ones. Contemporary, historical, upmarket, literary, or women's fiction by BIPOC, LGBTQ+ authors #MSWL
