Carleen is looking for wilderness settings—especially in the PNW—across adult contemporary genres! 🌲

"I want adult fiction for an audience of twenty-somethings. Show me the young women navigating adulthood, sexuality, passion, and careers circa CAREERING by Daisy Buchanan, and SUCH A FUN AGE by Kiley Reid."

I would really just love some romance with a spec twist in my inbox right now (adult or YA, I'm not picky) -- give me your ghost hunters falling for each other, your vampire crushes, your love spells gone wrong. #MSWL

This book was a favorite of mine growing up. Would love a adult version that is written by #ownvoice (as I don’t think this was). #mswl

Actually, not only do I want Spuffy vibes, I would love to see some ADULT vampire romance: give me sex, blood, morally grey (or even totally amoral, done well enough) protagonists, and YEARNING. #mswl

Catherine Ross is looking for #enemiestolovers romantasies with #BIPOC main characters in both #YA and adult! To see more of her #MSWL , check out the link below:

It pains me to do this, but I'll be closing to YA/MG queries for a while starting at the end of this month. My focus right now is on signing adult literary/upmarket fiction & nonfiction, and I want to give fair consideration to my existing backlog of kidlit queries. #MSWL

Aaaaand my #MSWL is here: manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/trinica-sampson-vera/ Looking forward to reading your amazing queries! 💞

I'm on QueryManager now! 🥰 QueryManager.com/TrinicaSampsonaSampsonVera

#amquerying authors: send me your MG, YA, and adult! I'm a sucker for anything speculative (particularly fantasy, romantasy, and horror) and am especially interested in stories featuring queer/BIPOC rep.

Adult: I want romance and mystery! Especially, cozy mystery ✨ Small-town romance, enemies-to-lovers, friends-to-lovers, second chance, any romance, I'm here for it!

FICTION: Adult, YA, some Upper MG

1. My main jam is thrillers and sub-genres. Domestic suspense, psychological thrillers, gothic and supernatural thrillers/horror, etc. I love fast-paced thrillers with high tension and high stakes. Ghosts & haunted houses are a huge draw for me.

i'm looking for mainly DIVERSE kidlit (pb, mg, and ya) submissions, but i'm also open to adult romance novels

"I'd love to see a voicey spin doctor narrative in adult fiction. Think the energy of the The Good Wife's Eli Gold."
