“Fantasy (urban or otherwise) dealing with the diaspora of a magical community—how does the magic change/thrive?” @kurestinarmada #MSWL psliterary.com/submissions/

Is it too early to declare 2019 the Year of Sprawling Science Fantasy Novels That Giddily Give Zero Fucks for Genre Rules?

No, it is not. pic.twitter.com/cK60j1YP8G

I've loved science fantasy since I first read Anne McCaffrey, Philip Jose Farmer's Riverboat stuff, and any number of other things in my adolescence.

Agents, send me more! #MSWL

I started watching The Rise of Phoenixes last night and I'm in love, which means I now want a intricate political fantasy with siblings vying for dominace, revenge, false smiles, and a love burdened by past decisions. #mswl

I love new, different worlds in fantasy or sci-fi. Magic is cool. Science is sweet. Aliens? Not so much. But, you could surprise me. What about witches? I'm still looking for a witch story. #MG #YA #A #MSWL

Where are all the adult fantasy manuscripts hiding? Not in my box. 🥺 I would really love to see them, though. Bonus if it's dark fantasy, but I love all kinds of fantasy. Send query and 1st five pages to: querylynnette (at) theseymouragency (dot) com. #MSWL

I also happen to have a totally empty #query inbox as of 1.00am EST, and--two months into reading #manuscripts--still am on the hunt for a good thriller, women's fiction, and adult #fantasy and #scifi. I love good espionage, puzzles, and coding, & excellent female heroes. #MSWL

A type of primary relationship I’d love to see more in #SFF: comrades-in-arms—not only warrior/soldier siblings-in-battle, but also people fighting for common causes in politics, in the workplace, in civil society, &c. who believe viscerally in their purpose & in each other #MSWL

Project Savior. I'm a huge fan of SEVENEVES by Neal Stephenson, & I'd love a powerful, weighty fantasy along the same lines. Part 1) Humanity in peril, danger, despair, rushed plans, underground cryo chambers Part 2) Waking up to & surviving a new reality millennium later #MSWL

A friendly reminder that if you have a John Henry but SFF, or any other SFF take on American folklore, feel free to drop me a line. #MSWL

Still on the hunt for a #YA or adult historical, whether it's straight #historical, #fantasy, or has other speculative elements. Love a good romance subplot. Been craving Ice Age and early human stories as far as ancient history goes as well. #MSWL

Agents, I have updated my #MSWL on my site. If you have something that matches my current wishlist, feel free to send it my way! enigmaticeditor.blogspot.com/p/wish-list.ht…

Katelyn Uplinger @KatelynUplinger · Oct 2

#MSWL Since it's October, I would love something gothic and creepy, a dark fantasy, or a historical in #YA or #A. Or something like Into the Drowning Deep. Loved that anticipation of waiting to discover the truth followed by horror.
