I want urban fantasy in MG too please! Series potential and big friend groups, family-focused, heartfelt—would love to fight some surprise tears reading a fun, sweeping adventure. #MSWL

I’m still looking for my fresh take on vampires in YA, whether grounded in this world or else reimagined and renamed in a fantasy one. I’d love to see more unexpected urban fantasy in general too, with characters I’d follow anywhere. #MSWL

#MSWL for MG, I want mature voices. Upper MG storylines. LOVE historical fiction for younger characters, contemporary that makes me like who I'm reading about, urban fantasy/magical realism where the child is strong & proud.

#MSWL Urban Fantasy all ages, based off lesser-known legends and myths. Give me creatures that require research, that you don't see in every scary movie.

#MSWL Southern Gothic is high on my list. YA or A; historical fiction/fantasy, contemporary, urban fantasy, magical realism. Bonus points for local legend and bayou storylines.

I was thinking clear manifestation of my severe perfectionist tendencies, but now I kind of want a YA UF about a badass girl with self-changing body art she uses to solve crimes in dreamscape sequences... #mswl
