With SF, I'm still looking for my Black Mirror comp leaning towards creepy, literary speculative that plays more on technology than it does hard SF. For reference, my fav BM episodes: San Junipero, Entire History of You, Nosedive, Hang the DJ, and Black Museum. #mswl

I am also still looking for works of creative nonfiction that address issues not often talked about: from family dynamics to social justice, anything that explores those hard-to-define gray areas of our lives and that will really make me stop and think. #mswl

I am so hungry for nonfiction!! I'm still looking for a travel book that doesn't read like an anthropological study, but rather something that captures the lives and cultures of others in all its beauty. Something that gives us a glimpse without the Western lens. #mswl

When it comes to literary, I actively search for #ownvoices works, but especially those from the POC, immigrant, and LGBTQ+ communities. I'm not really looking for Americana stories right now. Nothing wrong with being the next John Steinbeck, it just wouldn't be for me. #mswl

Also with nonfiction, I am on the lookout for stories that raise awareness regarding social issues, particularly in the area of LGBTQIA+ rights and undoc. immigrants/dreamers. These are two issues very close to my heart and I will fight tooth and nail to advocate for them. #mswl

Within nonfiction, I would love a food-travel-culture book that doesn't read like an anthropological study, focusing the story through a humanitarian lens. #mswl

As a Korean-American, I'm on the hunt for anything that showcases my culture and heritage. I want to boost our stories across genres: contemporary, historical, SF/F...again, own-voices only. #mswl

I am hungry for an adult multicultural literary novel. I am looking for something that not only addresses the cultural and generational divide, but also our very real flaws as human beings. Must be own-voices. #mswl
