#MSWL time! I REALLY want something for Mystic Owl. Which means: 75K or under, HOT adult PNR or UF romance or Sci-fi romance. Heavy on the romance in any sub-genre of Fantasy, but with action as well. I love at least a touch of humor, especially dark. @ me w/any questions!

YA:
- Would love some more big romance with a hook. Smart and swoony. If there's an irreverent quality to it (ala VIOLET MADE OF THORNS), all the better.
- Speculative twists and hooks. Splashes of magic or sci-fi.
- Books that feel like going on a vacation somewhere exciting.

#mswl SF (broadly defined) & speculative literary. But weird. I want more weird. Absurdity. Humans with two heads and shit. Stuff that's funny & dark. Books that go too far.

My kid is playing with my calculator and showed me a random 10 digit number and said: "MOM THIS IS THE LAST NUMBER" with awe and reverence. So I'm going to need that SF novel one day, too. #mswl

*if romance I like banter and not too convenient HEA because life isn't like that
*an author open to edits or suggestions who is willing to work to engage readers
* if scify/fantasy, a world that pulls me in immediately

YA Fiction:
Rom-coms, paranormal romance, dystopian romance, science fiction/fantasy/speculative, & thriller/suspense. I would love to see: diversity, LGBTQ+, environmental issues/climate change, school settings, and mental health.
