@DelilahSDawson I’d love to see more brown people! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a South Asian person on screen or page in Star Wars, other than Riz Ahmed! So a brown girl would be so cool! More mental illness rep would be great too. This is also eternally on my #MSWL for YA and adult sci-fi and fantasy, please. Brown kids in space.

"Sci-fi & fantasy novels. I love them. I read a ton of them. But they have to be accessible. What does that mean? It means that readers who don't traditionally pick up much sci-fi/fantasy, can pick up one of these novels & enjoy it." @ericsmithrocks #MSWL ericsmithrocks.com/mswl

I'm so excited!!!! I want a book that makes me feel like this trailer does #MSWL twitter.com/Stranger_Thing…I want to be more specific about this #MSWL. I want something that gives me the nostalgia and friendship of The Sandlot (like this does) while also bringing in the awesome sci-fi adventure we see in Stranger Things. Don't comp if it's just sci-fi without the other elements.

Two things I decided/learned from listening at the #highlightsjewishkidlit weekend: writers don’t need to define if it’s “a Jewish book,” just write what’s there. And we’re all Jewish enough (or not too Jewish) exactly however we are. Also, YES please to Jewish fantasy & sci-fi!Jewish fantasy or sci-fi!! #mswl

Where's the YA author writing a rom-com in space? #MSWL
Give me the Nora Ephron quality swoons and smiles from @LaurenEMorrill's books mashed together with the flawless SFF world building from @SanguMandanna and @rhodabee.
It'll be weird. A marketing nightmare. Send it to me.

I'd love to find some more SFF novels that are fun, moving, diverse, and accessible.
My favorite SFF read last year was by @pengshepherd, and I'm smitten with the works of @KatWithSword @DelilahSDawson and @ChuckWendig.
The City of Brass by @SAChakrabooks is a perfect book.

Literary Agent
I'm on the lookout for more diverse and inclusive voices in YA across all genres.
My favorite books last year were by authors like @RantingOwl @justinaireland @theames and @AshWrites.
And I'm DESPERATE to find a sci-fi genre blending masterpiece like @erin_bowman's Contagion.
