YES SARAH!!! Life for women and women characters does not start and end with marriage/motherhood. We are women before and after marriage and motherhood, with stories to tell there too. #MSWL esp in SFF.

Mom’s never get enough love in fiction. Particularly not SFF. They’re always dead or dying or gone. This is often to give character’s agency because they KNOW their real mothers wouldn’t let them go traipsing off killing dragons.Have a SFF where the MC is a mom? I want to see it. #mswl
