Mom’s never get enough love in fiction. Particularly not SFF. They’re always dead or dying or gone. This is often to give character’s agency because they KNOW their real mothers wouldn’t let them go traipsing off killing dragons.Have a SFF where the MC is a mom? I want to see it. #mswl

You know what I’d love to see done well? An erotic romance story set in a brothel in space. Basically, The Expanse meets Copper. #MSWL

Also: where's my sci fi featuring characters who know about literature or history or art rather than science and math and warfare? Tech is important, but I refuse to believe in a future where everything is reduced to just that. #MSWL

After finishing the @netflix reboot of @lostinspacetv, all I want is a good family drama... that just happens to be in space. #MSWL
Send me your accessible sci-fi, please!

In adult, I'm mainly looking for SFF & historical, especially the kind that's both gripping & intimate. I want a really deep dive into a character's (or community's) emotional journey. #mswl

I would love to see some really grounded sci-fi in my query inbox, the kind where you come to care deeply about the characters and their relationships. Basically, I want something that reminds me of watching Battlestar Galactica. #mswl
I have finally FINALLY made my #MSWL page. Already itching to update it. Check me out, agent friends: manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/hann…

On my fantasy/scifi #MSWL I often say I like stories to play with time. This doesn't necessarily mean time travel. My FAVORITE movie/short story is Arrival/Story of Your Life by Ted Chiang. The way time is used in that RUINED ME in the best way. Play with big concepts like time.

#MSWL: I would love a scifi YA where--and just hear me out here--someone takes a werewolf and puts it ON the moon, and also puts a vampire on the sun, and somehow this makes sense.
